/// The STAGED Ensemble

STAGE PASS terms

STAGE PASS is our ensemble membership, for members who create with us in our closed rehearsal projects and productions. These are the plain-language terms; they sit alongside our privacy policy and community guidelines.

What's included

An active STAGE PASS gives you access to all our closed rehearsal projects (Theatre, Devised Theatre and future ensemble productions, subject to casting, placement and availability), priority registration for projects, 33% off all ticketed STAGED events, one free guest pass for STAGE shows, an exclusive STAGE PASS badge on your profile, recognition on the STAGED Supporters page, immediate Community membership, and a vote on the polls that shape STAGED. We add things over time; new member benefits are included automatically.

Price & billing

STAGE PASS is €15 per month and runs month to month. It renews at the end of each monthly period until you cancel. Payments are handled by our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.); depending on availability you can pay by card, PayPal or SEPA direct debit. The price is the final price: as a small business under §19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung) we do not charge VAT, and none is shown on invoices. You'll receive a confirmation email and a receipt for every payment, and you can download invoices from the billing portal in your account settings.

Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

If you buy STAGE PASS online as a consumer, you have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving any reason. To withdraw, send us a clear statement (an email to contact@stagedhub.de is enough, for example: "I hereby withdraw from my STAGE PASS membership contract, concluded on [date], name, email"). Sending your statement before the 14 days end is sufficient to meet the deadline.

When you subscribe, you ask us to start your membership immediately, before the withdrawal period ends. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, you pay only a proportionate amount for the time your membership was already active, and we refund the rest without delay, at the latest within 14 days, using the same payment method.

We confirm every withdrawal by email. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything on this page.

Reward discounts

If you've earned a STAGE PASS discount through our incentive program (for example, 33% off for three months), it applies to your membership for the stated period. After that period, the standard monthly price applies. Reward codes are personal, one-time, and not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your pass stays active until the end of the current paid period and is not renewed afterwards. We don't pro-rate or refund part-months unless required by law. You can cancel from your account (My Classes or the billing portal) or, without logging in, via the cancellation page. We confirm every cancellation by email with the exact end date.

Ending a pass from our side

We may end a pass from our side, for example where our community guidelines are not respected. If we do, the pass stays active until the end of the current paid period unless the situation requires immediate action.

Fair use

STAGE PASS is for your personal participation. Spaces in workshops and productions are limited and allocated fairly; priority for productions does not guarantee a part. A few smaller, self-directed projects may sit outside the pass and will be flagged where that's the case.

Work we create together

Some of our programmes (Devised Theatre in particular) produce original material made collectively by the group: scenes, scripts, characters, texts, staging and the performances themselves. That work belongs to the people who created it. Nothing here transfers ownership to STAGED!.

So that the group's work can actually reach a stage and an audience, by taking part you grant STAGED! a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use the material created in our sessions and productions for our normal community purposes: rehearsing and performing it, documenting it (photos, video, audio), and presenting it on our website, social channels and programmes. Creators are always credited by name (or a stage name, if you prefer).

This right is not exclusive: you remain free to use, develop and publish your own contributions elsewhere. If a piece created in our programme is ever taken beyond STAGED's normal community activities (for example a commercial production or publication), we agree the terms with the group separately before anything happens.

If we have to cancel or move something

We may cancel or postpone a session, workshop, production or event for good cause, for example illness of a participant or facilitator, too few participants, technical problems, official directives, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel, you receive a full refund of the fee or ticket price for that session or event. If we postpone, your ticket stays valid for the new date; if you cannot make the new date, tell us and we will refund you.

Beyond that refund we cannot cover incidental costs such as travel or accommodation. This does not limit our liability where we are liable by law, in particular for injury to life, body or health, or for intent or gross negligence.

Right of admission

To keep sessions safe and welcoming, we may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who seriously disrupts an event, endangers other people, or breaks our community guidelines. Where removal is justified on those grounds, no refund is due. This does not affect your statutory rights.

FAQ

Do I need STAGE PASS to join STAGED?
No. Our Community is free. STAGE PASS is only required if you want to take part in our closed rehearsal productions.

Can I join only one production?
All production-based rehearsal groups are included under STAGE PASS. Rather than paying separately for each project, one membership gives you access to the whole rehearsal programme.

Changes to these terms

These terms are a living document. We'll update them as STAGED! grows, and we'll let members know before any significant change takes effect.
