About

STAGED! is heading to drucklufthaus in Oberhausen, for the third season of Open Stage! an evening of many different shows and excitments. We’ll be performing Morning Paper, a 12-15 minute English-language scene from our upcoming 2027 production "Please Clear the Stage."

A man is declared gone. One person refuses to accept it. A short piece about memory, disappearance, and what happens when the world decides someone no longer exists before the people who loved them are ready to forget.

Good to know

What is Please Clear the Stage?

"Please Clear the Stage" is one of STAGED!’s larger theatre projects currently in development for 2027. It brings together several original pieces developed through our community and workshops. The Moth is one of the short scenes being developed as part of the project.

Can I perform with STAGED! too?

Yes! This is exactly what STAGED! is for. Sign up, come to our open theatre workshops and get involved. The Moth itself grew out of the kind of work we develop through our weekly sessions, and members can eventually join casts, writing, directing and production teams. We regularly put our memebrs on stage for them to gain valuable experience!

Is the performance in English?

Yes. Morning Paper and STAGED!’s work are in English. You don’t need to speak German to follow the performance or get involved with STAGED!.

Am I only coming to see STAGED!?

Nope! STAGED! is one of the few acts that evening. Come support us, but stay for the whole night and discover the other theatre, comedy, music and performance work on stage too.
